All clear at Phila. evacuation site

OLNEY - May 23, 2010

Police tell Action News that shortly before noon, someone reported findind a container, and the report indicated the container was labeled with nitroglycerin. It happend along the 5400 block of North 4th Street in the Olney section of Philadelphia.

The container actually contained a non-hazardous cleaning chemical that contained "glycerin." Just before 1:30 p.m. all the residents who had been evacuated were allowed back in their homes.

Hazardous materials teams along with the Philadelphia bomb squad, police and firefighters were called to the scene.
