34-year-old Murat Demirbozan, of Rehoboth Beach, is being sought. Police say he's a white man, about five feet tall, 185 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Delaware State Police at 302-856-5850.
The incident happened on Saturday, June 19th. The victim told investigators she was walking on the boardwalk with friends when she got into a confrontation with a group of other females.
The victim said she walked away and, the next thing she could remember, she was in a home of an unknown man in Rehoboth Beach with some of her clothes missing.
Police say that Demirbozan lives in the home where the victim woke up.
She told police that a male in the home gave her a ride to Ocean City, MD and, from there, she returned home to Pennsylvania.
Once in PA, she went to Reading Hospital where, police say, evidence of a sexual assault was collected.
A warrant has been obtained for Demirbozan, charging him with first-degree rape.
