Teacher's aide accused of doing drugs with students

BANGOR, Pa. - September 23, 2010

Police now charged Washburn with Corruption of minors, claiming Washburn sold drugs to students, did drugs with students and allowed some to leave class to do drugs.

Prosecutors say the drug transactions took place several times before the Riso's death and during the 2008-2009 school year on school property.

Washburn could face 5 years in prison and a $10,000 fine for the corruption of minors charges and up to three more years for the drug charges related to Gina Riso's death.
