Del. man killed in NJ fishing accident

CAPE MAY, N.J. - November 21, 2010

Maurice Warren of Milford was with family members aboard the Fish Hawk when he fell into the gunnel of the 38-foot vessel and hit his head around 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

His daughter-in-law started performing CPR while a crew member notified the Coast Guard station in Cape May, which sent out a 47-foot motor life boat crew.

Coast Guard personnel soon arrived and moved Warren to their boat. They then took over resuscitation efforts as they returned him to shore, where he was pronounced dead.

A cause of death has not been determined.
