Winter storm warning issued for eastern Pa. areas

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - January 17, 2011

The National Weather Service says Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Lehigh, and Northampton counties are expected to receive 3 to 6 inches of snow followed by sleet and freezing rain. Officials predicted that travel "will be slow and difficult Tuesday morning."

A weather advisory was issued for southeastern Pennsylvania due to an anticipated 1 to 3 inches of snow followed by sleet and freezing rain and then just rain.
