Wilmington 7-11 robbed at gunpoint

WILMINGTON, Del.- January 24, 2011

The robbery occurred at the 7-11 located on the 4800 block Governor Printz Boulevard in Wilmington.

According to police, the two suspects entered the store at approximately 8:30pm. One of them was armed with a handgun and confronted two male employees, demanding cash from the register. The second suspect acted as a lookout.

Once money was handed over to the gunman, the two fled from the store and were last seen running toward the rear of the store.

The store employees, ages 43 and 22, were not injured.

Police have described the suspects as follows:

Suspect 1: Black male, 20-30 years of age, 220-230 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a white hooded sweatshirt underneath, black jeans, silver belt, and black and white sneakers, and a black mask. He was also armed with a silver handgun.

Suspect 2: Black male, 20-30 years of age, 170-200 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a black hooded sweatshirt underneath, dark pants, and a black facemask.
