Man injured in Wilmington Dunkin Donuts fight

WILMINGTON, Del. - February 15, 2011

Police were dispatched to the Dunkin Donuts at 9th and Orange streets at 12:05 p.m. to a report of a person shot.

Though, nobody was shot, police found a man bleeding from a gash to the hand about a half a block away from the store.

Back at the store, they found a broken plate glass window.

Police say the 26-year-old Wilmington man was in an altercation inside the store with another man known to him over an old debt.

During the altercation, the victim was pushed and fell back through the front window of the store.

The injured man ran about a half block down 9th Street where he was located by police and paramedics.

Police say he was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and released.

Police were unable to locate the suspect.
