Delaware State Police spokesman Cpl. Bruce Harris says police were called to a home in the 3600 block of Bay Road on Friday morning and that the standoff ended just before 8 a.m. The six people taken into custody were inside the home during the incident.
Bay Road was closed in both directions during the incident.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
