Police say the investigation began on Wednesday after police were called to a home on South Congress Street in Port Penn, Delaware.
At the home the mother of the victim told police she found two videos on a computer that showed her 8-year-old daughter performing sex acts on her 23-year-old boyfriend, Joshua Jones.
When she confronted Jones, police say he fled the home. He was found the next day by Delaware State Police near Odessa.
Jones has been charged with first-degree rape and first-degree unlawful sexual contact.
He is being held on $55,000 secured bail.
