Philadelphia police round up parking scofflaws

PHILADELPHIA - March 28, 2011

The Action Cam went along for the ride with police from the warrant unit as they tracked down people who have repeatedly skipped out on traffic court.

Officers arrested one man who they say owes $23,000 in violations.

In all, police were looking for 30 people. They tell us they arrested at least 18 of them.

Lt. Sam Turner had this message for traffic violators: "Please surrender yourself that way we don't have to physically come out and take you into traffic court to clear this matter up that way."

The suspected scofflaws are due in court Monday.
