Pharmacy robbery caught on tape, suspect sought

PHILADELPHIA - April 19, 2011

The robbery took place on March 23rd at approximately 3:45 p.m. at the Deluxe Pharmacy at 8749 Frankford Avenue.

Police say the suspect entered the pharmacy, placed his hand inside his jacket, and showed the employee a black revolver handgun.

The suspect then placed a demand note on the counter stating he wanted certain prescribed medicine.

The employee gave the suspect several bottles of medication (Vicodin, and Oxycodone).

The suspect fled the location on foot.

There were no injuries to the employee.

The suspect is described as a white male, 60-65 years of age, 5'10" in height. He was wearing a light tan hat, light brown jacket, and blue jeans
