At around 8:40 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting.
Arriving officers found a 23-year-old man down outside the clerk's booth suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police rushed the man to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police checked to see if surveillance video existed, but learned the cameras were not operative.
A police inspector on location told Action News that the victim, as he walks towards the booth, was approached by a man who shot him four times in the chest.
After the man collapsed, the police inspector says the shooter stood over the victim and shot him two more times in the head.
No information on the shooter has been released.
