Bethlehem firefighters rescue baby ducks

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - May 21, 2011

They were called to pull some baby ducks out of a storm drain.

They had fallen through the grate into the storm drain, and the mother duck went nuts.

A passerby noticed and called for help.

Bethlehem firefighters rolled up their sleeves and went to work, removing the ducklings one by one, handing them over to the grateful mom.

Then the first responders held up traffic so mom and her babies could cross the highway and head on home.
