Shortly before 11:00 p.m. Saturday, police respond to a home in the 200 block of Lindbergh Avenue in the community of Silview for a "check on welfare" call.
Upon their arrival, officers contacted the man who called 9-1-1. He told officers he was supposed to pick someone up at the residence, but when no one answered the door, he contacted police.
Officers then made their way into the home and discovered a man and a woman dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
Detectives have not released the victims' names, nor have they released any further details about the case.
So far, no arrests have been made.
