Pit bulls found living in piles of trash in N. Phila
NORTH PHILADELPHIA - September 18, 2011
They were called by the Philadelphia Police Department to a house on the 2600 block of North 23rd Street in North Philadelphia.
Officers were issuing the suspect living inside the home a warrant for an assault case, when they discovered the emaciated dogs.
While the animals are still alive, the PSPCA is in the process of getting a search warrant to remove the dogs.
Officials are still investigating the incident.
