The first accident occurred around 9:30 Sunday morning at the intersection of Cumberland Avenue and Tuckahoe Road.
A driver lost control of their vehicle and went into the woods before hitting a tree. The impact of the crash, trapped the victim inside.
Rescue crews were called to the scene, but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second accident happened not very far away at the intersection of Oak Road and Lincoln Avenue about a half hour later.
Police say two vehicles crashed in a head-on collision.
The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead.
No other injuries were reported in either accident and both remain under investigation.
