Philadelphia police have made an arrest in the shooting of a bystander in Germantown and are searching for a second suspect.

At 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, the Philadelphia Police Department arrested Ahmae Harris (pictured left) who has been identified as one of the suspects involved in a shooting that occurred on the 5800 block of Morton Street on December 23.

Police say Ahmae Harris and Kairi Harris (pictured right) were involved in a shooting when a bullet entered a residence's window striking a 53-year-old female in the face causing serious injuries.

Kairi Harris remains at large.

21-year-old Ahmae Harris resides on the 400 block of Mechanic Street. Ahmae will be charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault and related charges.

The community knows the victim, Gwendolyn Knox, as Miss Gigi. She runs a daycare in her home.

"She was well loved. People that I know loved her and she loved the kids," family friend Donita Cohen told Action News last Friday.

Knox was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center in critical condition.
