6at4 Business Report: iPad prices may drop; Starbucks' prices going up!

American Airlines warning
Have you gotten any emails from American Airlines lately? The carrier says beware! American Airlines suspects hackers have sent out phony emails looking to get personal information like credit card or account information. If you suspect you may have received one, you can check it out by looking at examples on American Airline's official website.

Tablet wars may intensify!
Sources told DigiTimes Research that Apple's planning to release two versions of its new iPad while lowering the price for its current iPad 2. If true, Apple would cover all price segments. That means changes could come to tablet prices across the industry. Much of that was spurred by the low price of the Amazon Kindle Fire at $199.

Starbucks' prices going up
Look out for rising prices from Starbucks. According to the Associated Press, the coffee chain is raising prices about 1% on its tall coffees, that's a $0.10 increase. That hike is only coming to the northeast and Sun Belt regions, but Florida and California are excluded. Starbucks says the prices reflect competition in certain markets and higher costs for coffee, fuel and other commodities.
