Joseph Verucci, 53, of the 400 block of Martin Drive in the community of Collins Park was charged with first-degree murder in the death of 74-year-old Thomas Verucci.
Police say they were called to home on Martin Drive around 2:10 p.m. on Thursday for a report of a suspicious death.
Once there, officers say they found Thomas Verucci unresponsive and suffering from apparent trauma to his upper body.
He was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead. An autopsy is planned to determine the exact cause of death.
Police believe he died after an apparent domestic dispute with Joseph Verucci.
Joseph Verucci surrendered to police and was arrested without incident. He is being held without bail.
Police did not disclose the exact relationship of the Veruccis.
