It happened at 1:15 a.m. Friday outside one of the buildings of the Presidential Apartments in the 3900 block of City Avenue in the Wynnefield Heights section of Philadelphia.
Police tell Action News one man was stabbed in the arm. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The assailant was taken into custody a short time later.
Police have not released the names of either person.
They believe the stabbing stemmed from some sort of domestic argument.
