Reward offered in mugging of woman, 94

RHAWNHURST - April 13, 2012

According to authorities, the elderly woman was walking home from Bells Corner Supermarket on the 8300 block of Loretto Avenue at 2:10 p.m. on Easter Sunday.

That is when, police say, an unknown male began following her.

The suspect approached the victim from behind and grabbed her pocketbook, pulling the woman to the ground.

The suspect fled in an unknown direction.

The victim suffered a broken arm and multiple cuts and bruises resulting from the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6" tall, weighing 175 to 185 pounds. He was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
