Caught on camera: Man breaks into Montco store

MONTGOMERY TWP., Pa. - May 8, 2012

The break-in happened at 12:56 a.m. Sunday at the Lukoil/Kwik Farms Convenience Store located at 913 Bethlehem Pike in Montgomery Township.

Surveillance video shows a man using a hammer to break the glass on the front door to gain entry to the store. He then went behind the counter with a plastic bag and began looking through cabinets. Police believe he was looking for cartons of cigarettes.

After looking through the cabinets the man left the store empty handed.

The suspect is described as a white male with a muscular build, close cut hair with a goatee and mustache, wearing a black baseball hat, a white short sleeve shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, and light blue latex gloves.

Anyone with information pertaining to the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to contact the Montgomery Township Police at 215-362-2301.
