The video shows a woman getting on the route 23 bus on May 31st in the 5700 block of Germantown Avenue. .
She sat down for a moment, then stood up, walked to a man sitting on the bus and started slapping and punching him.
She then got off the bus at the Germantown and Chelten Avenue stop and fled on foot.
The victim suffered head injuries.
The suspect is described as a black female, 5'5", stocky build, dark complexion, wearing a pink shirt, dark jeans, and white framed sunglasses.
