Police 39-year-old Stephen Airel walked away from the New Lisbon Developmental Center in Woodland Township in Burlington County around 10:15 a.m. Wednesday morning.
He is described as a white male, 6'2" tall, 130 pounds, with brown hair with blonde highlights.
He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, blue sweat pants, and brown boots.
