6abc President and General Manager Bernie Prazenica was on hand as Dunkin Donuts presented a check to Philabundance for $100,000, along with four tons of coffee.
Acme Markets also handed over a check for more than $28,000.
Philabundance says the donations will go a long way to help area families in need.
"When we do food drives, we're looking for rice and beans and tuna fish," said Philabundance President and Executive Director William Clark. "But when you can provide a family, an individual, with some coffee it really is a special treat."
The monetary and coffee donations were in addition to the 32,000 pounds of food gathered during the 2012 6abc Dunkin Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade.
