Teacher indicted on 92 child sex, porn charges

PINE HILL, N.J. - February 6, 2013

Charles Reilly, 44, of East Pine Street, was indicted on 92 counts related to child abuse, the Camden County prosecutor's office announced on Wednesday.

Reilly was an art teacher at Pine Hill Middle School, a boys soccer coach and a town councilman in Pine Hill.

According to the indictment, Reilly sexually touched a student in June, 2007. The other victims were alleged recipients of "inappropriate sexual communications" between 2006 and March, 2011, when he was arrested.

The victims ranged in age from 12 to 16, the prosecutor said.

Meanwhile, during the course of the investigation, the prosecutor's office said Reilly had a sexually explicit interaction online with an undercover officer posing as a student.

Reilly was also charged for allegedly having child pornography. None of the victims in the photos were children Reilly knew, investigators said.

The school district has suspended Reilly, with pay, since his arrest. He resigned his position on town council after his 2011 arrest.
