Student injured after falling 3 stories at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia

CHESTNUT HILL - April 24, 2013

It happened at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities say the male student fell from third-story outside stairwell near Fournier Hall on the college's campus.

The student was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center. He suffered a neck injury.

There is no word on the student's condition.

The college tells Action News that the student's name is being withheld until family members can be notified.

The school released a statement saying, "We urge all the members of the college community and the public to keep this student . . . in our thoughts and prayers at this time."
