Officers were called to the yard at 8401 State Road just before 12:00 p.m.
There, they found a man - believed to be in his 60s or 70s - dead.
The view from Chopper 6 HD showed police by a pile of what appeared to be discarded electronics equipment.
There was no immediate word as to how the man died as this investigation begins.
However, police did say there were "no obvious signs of foul play."
Further details are pending an autopsy.
