Reward offered in violent home invasion in Hatfield Twp.

HATFIELD TWP., Pa. - November 8, 2013

Police say the 34-year-old resident had worked overnight, went to a friend's home, and was returning from the Philadelphia area around 5:15 a.m.

Not long after pulling into his driveway on 1400 block of Leas Way he was attacked by four to five men, who held him at gunpoint and forced him inside the home.

Once inside, investigators say the victim was assaulted while bound with wire ties, his head covered up.

The suspects ransacked the home, stealing a number of personal items including several firearms.

The suspects grabbed the man's car keys and fled the area in the victim's silver 2003 BMW 525i station wagon with Pennsylvania registration JGN-5269.

It took twenty minutes for the victim to free himself when the men left. He called 911 just after 6:15 a.m.

The victim suffered lacerations to his head and face and was transported by paramedics to Lansdale Hospital for treatment.

The ATF is now offering a reward "up to $10,000" for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-283-4677 or 1-800-ATF-GUNS.
