Mammal experts watching seal pups on Delaware shore

Marine mammal experts are monitoring the Delaware shore for stranded seals.

A young grey seal came ashore Tuesday at Cape Henlopen State Park but fortunately was not in distress.

Another seal pup came onto the beach earlier in the day and a third on Monday at Dewey Beach.

Experts say these babies are only three weeks old, and may be worn out and in need of rest.

Officials are asking everyone to keep a distance of at least 150 feet in order not to disturb them.
