Authorities have ended an active search for the body of a 17-year-old mother who was believed to have been tossed in a Cinnaminson creek nearly two weeks ago.

Prosecutors say they still hope to find the body of Felicia Mikels. State police plan to do regular sweeps to see if Mikels' body surfaces.

Prosecutors say Douglas Mandichak killed the teen on Jan. 18. Her uncle, Christopher Mikels, was charged with being an accomplice.

Felicia Mikels' infant daughter was found in the yard of a Cherry Hill home hours after police believe her mother was killed.
