No one has come forward to claim the Pick 6 Lotto jackpot from March 1, 2007. Winners have one year to claim the prize.
The winning ticket - with numbers 07, 09, 14, 16, 23 and 49 - was sold at V-Raj Corporation in Newark.
New Jersey Lottery officials say the winner should take the ticket to a lottery retailer and have it validated.
Officials say it's the second time a winning ticket from Newark has gone unclaimed in less than a year. Last April, no one claimed a $19 million prize.
Unclaimed winnings go toward education and other state programs, with the remainder going to support special lottery prize offerings.
