Long Beach disrobing law upsets some

One Jersey Shore community will no longer allow people to change into and out of wet suits on the streets leading to the beach.

But some surfers and business owners in the Long Beach Township area are strongly opposed to the plan.

They say the ordinance isn't needed and will be hard to enforce. They also say police in the Ocean County town have more important matters to deal with.

But Mayor DiAnne Gove says the law came about because numerous residents have complained about people undressing in the streets.

She notes the town has three public restrooms in the area where people can change.
