She wants 15 million dollars from the company, saying that Lancome boosted its worldwide sales by helping retailers use her name and likeness in ads after her contract expired.
Lancome claims the contract specifies that the company was not responsible if third parties used her name and face after the agreement was up.
Lancome's lawyer says its lawsuit will take priority in court because it was filed first.
