Former class pres. serves robbery sentence

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) - June 29, 2008

Twenty-two-year-old Greg Hogan Jr. left Huntingdon State Prison earlier this month after serving 22 months. He will be on probation through 2016.

The former Lehigh class president walked out of the Allentown bank with nearly $2,800 in December 2005 after handing a teller a note demanding money. He was arrested that night at his fraternity house.

Hogan's family says he suffers from an addiction to online gambling.

Under the conditions of his probation, he can't enter a casino or make any bets. He also can't drink alcohol or - at least for now - own a credit card.
