Man charged with baseball bat attack on brother

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - September 7, 2008 County police say Eric Shambor of the BrackEx community had been arguing with the two for several days before the assault just after midnight Saturday.

Police say Shambor's 47-year-old girlfriend is in intensive care at Christiana Hospital. His 44-year-old brother was treated for broken bones in his face, arm and leg, and received several stitches.

Shambor, who later turned himself in, faces a number of assault charges and is awaiting arraignment.
