Household Hazardous Waste Collection

PHILADELPHIA - September 10, 2008 - You'll be able to drop off oil-based paint, solvents, pesticides, flammable liquids (such as gasoline or kerosene), used oil, antifreeze and brake fluid.

The city says, those items can be dangerous when thrown out in the trash.

The event will be held:

Saturday, September 13th.

9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Streets Dept. 3rd District Highway Yard

22nd Street and York Street.

No waste materials generated by a business will be accepted.

This event will be held rain or shine.
