PHILADELPHIA (AP) - September 10, 2008 Andre Butler, of the Mill Creek neighborhood of Philadelphia, is
charged as an adult with third-degree murder, vehicular homicide
and other offenses in the death of Officer Isabel Nazario.
Attorney Brian Humble says his client's fear is typical for a
juvenile who's jailed and charged as an adult. He also says
Butler's mother is an upright citizen who has raised seven
children, one of whom just graduated from college.
Nazario's funeral is scheduled Friday.
