Firefighters extinguishing a car fire behind a Central New Jersey car dealership have discovered a body inside. Michael Mohel with the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office says a man was found shortly after the 10:15 a.m. fire was extinguished behind an autoplex on Route 88 in Lakewood.

Mohel declined to say where in the car the body was found or if there was any other apparent trauma.

No one answered the phone Wednesday at the dealership. WABC-TV in New York reports the dealership is closed while fire, police, and medical examiner's officials investigate.
