World Series rally for Phillies Wednesday

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - October 18, 2008 Mayor Michael Nutter is to wish the Phillies luck in a send-off at the airport on Monday.

The Phillies will face either the Tampa Bay Rays or Boston Red Sox in the Series.

A rally is planned for noon on Wednesday at Dilworth Plaza.

The Phillies are in the World Series for the first time in 15 years. The Phillies lost the 1993 Series to the Toronto Blue Jays in six games.
