Signs has been posted for years in the Virginia resort city asking people not to feed the birds.
But being nice just hasn't work.
Now, the Virginia Beach City Council is considering an ordinance that would impose a 100 buck fine for people who duck the no-duck feeding request.
City officials say feeding ducks, geese and seagulls makes the birds aggressive and contributes to the mess they leave behind.
