The incident happened around 6:15 a.m. in the southbound lanes near the Ridge Avenue exit.
Police tell Action News that the deceased victim "intentionally darted" into on-coming traffic and was pronounced at the scene.
No charges are expected.
All lanes in that direction were shutdown as crews worked to clear the accident scene.
The boulevard has since been reopened.
