Investigators say just after midnight, a man shot a 31-year-old male once in the hip and pistol whipped another near Broad and Butler Streets.
The victims tried to walk to Temple University Hospital. Police saw them, picked them up and drove them to the hospital.
Both of them are in stable condition.
The suspect was seen running down Butler Street right after the attack.
