Mom will still sleep on the couch, but the boys got a bed! Just five months ago, the family was homeless and Christmas gifts were almost too much to wish for.
"I really didn't expect this. I told the kids you might not have a Christmas tree, you might not have gifts," Dixon said.
But, they will have Christmas after all andd they're not alone.
Back at Campbell's Soup, nearly 2,000 presents donated by employees are being loaded into trucks and given to local agencies who know the families in need.
"Even though times are difficult for them, they still gave the same if not what they gave last year plus some so it's an incredible thing to see and very heartwarming," Amanda Tolino of Campbell's Soup said.
Agency workers say it really matters to the families that somebody they don't even know is willing to pitch in to help them out.
"That's what Christmas is about, helping people and giving them a hand so I'm real grateful," Dixon said.
