Powerball ticket sold in Plymouth Meeting

March 2, 2009 This is the 13th time a jackpot-winning Powerball ticket was sold in Pennsylvania since it joined the game in 2002. It's also the fourth jackpot-winning Powerball ticket sold in Pennsylvania in the past seven months.

The Plymouth Meeting Mall, located at 500 Germantown Pike in Montgomery County, sells Lottery tickets from its customer service center and has been a Lottery retailer since 2005. As the retailer it will receive a $100,000 bonus for selling the winning jackpot ticket.

Saturday's winning numbers were 03-16-20-42-58, with a Powerball number, 07.

Lottery officials cannot confirm the identity of the winner until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated. No claim has been filed.

Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Each jackpot winner has 60 days from the date he or she claims the prize to decide between 30 annuity payments over 29 years, or a one-time cash payment.

Each ticket from the February 28th drawing has an annuity value of $87.2 million and a cash value of $46.6 million, less 25 percent federal withholding. The other jackpot-winning ticket was sold in Delaware.

Powerball tickets are sold in 30 states, the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands.
