Delaware State Police are looking for a Pennsylvania man accused of beating his girlfriend and shoving her out of a moving car near Wilmington.

Police say witnesses saw 38-year-old William Errie of Aston, Pa., hitting his girlfriend Sunday afternoon in a parking lot in the 2000 block of Naamans Road.

Witnesses told police that he pushed the woman out of his car while it was moving and drove off. The 51-year-old woman was left laying on the ground Sunday.

Police say the woman received serious injuries in the attack, but they are not thought to be life threatening.

Investigators called Errie on his cell phone but he hung up on them.
