Profane words sprayed on homes and cars

NEWARK, Del. - March 29, 2009 Police are investigating 15 cases of graffiti on buildings, homes and cars in the early morning hours yesterday.

Some of the graffiti has been washed away, but police say profane words were spray painted on homes and cars in the communities of Salem Woods and Country Creek in Newark. At around the same time, Vandals also struck at the Pike Creek Country Club in Wilmington.

Police don't believe the country club vandalism is related to the 15 in Newark, but they are still urging the public to keep a watchful eye.

Anyone with information is urged to call police.
