NEW YORK (AP) - May 1, 2009 Spokesman Curt King says O'Brien died Wednesday after collapsing
in Berkeley, Calif., on the set of a TV series in development for
NBC.
The 44-year-old O'Brien had worked for six years at NBC
Universal as an executive at the Sci Fi Channel and, most recently,
as vice president of drama programming for the company's studio
division.
O'Brien, who lived in Santa Monica, Calif., was a native of West
Hartford, Conn.
