Bank robbery suspect arrested

NEWARK, Del. - June 25, 2009 - Steven Brohawn was captured shortly after the robbery around 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday at the TD bank at 101 Hygeia Drive.

Police say Brohawn entered the bank, demanded money from the teller, took the cash and fled.

Troopers were called to the scene, and one saw a man matching the robber's description walking along railroad tracks near Harmony Road, close to the bank.

Other troopers arrived and set up a perimeter. People nearby directed police to a wooded area where Brohawn was found hiding in the brush.

Police say he matched the description of the bank robbery suspect, and he was arrested and charged.
