Mack Truck's iconic bulldog leaves Pa.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) - August 19, 2009 As workers went about their routines at the former Mack headquarters in Allentown on Tuesday, the bulldog was hoisted onto a pallet and hauled away to the soon-to-be Mack headquarters in Greensboro, N.C.

Mack's move from Allentown to Greensboro is part of the Volvo subsidiary's restructuring plan to move Mack's headquarters to the same complex as fellow subsidiary Volvo Trucks North America.

Mack has said it will be shift roughly 600 employees to Greensboro as well.

The 250,000-square-foot former Mack headquarters soon will house the Lehigh Valley Health Network.
